I’m Megan—the owner and stylist behind The Root House. I’ve been behind the chair for 17 years, and somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted to create more than just a place to get your hair done. I wanted a space that felt comfortable, welcoming, and a little bit like home. Starting The Root House has been a huge leap of faith, and I’m so incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported, encouraged, trusted, and believed in me along the way.

A back facial is a spa treatment designed to cleanse, exfoliate, and improve the skin on your back using techniques similar to a traditional facial for the face. It’s often chosen to treat back acne (“bacne”), clogged pores, dryness, uneven texture, or simply for relaxation.

I use a sterile surgical blade to gently remove dead skin cells and fine facial hair, also known as peach fuzz.
